When Elizabeth Hope was five years old, she started saving half of every dollar she earned to go to Africa and serve children in need. (When she was five, her plan was to bring them each a mosquito net so they wouldn’t get malaria) This was the beginning of Elizabeth’s Hope. As she grew, the seed God planted in her tiny five year old heart also continued to grow, guiding her choices and informing her decisions. In high school, she earned her EMT Certification, played goalie, completed three non profit internships and a mission trip to an orphanage in Uganda, graduated with honors and was recognized with a Christian character award from her school. God also blessed Elizabeth with an exceptionally lovely voice when she was very young.
Elizabeth started singing solo's in church and school at age 10, and has been serving as the lead singer on the Enough Ministries worship team since she was 14.
She now embarks on the first step of her career in missions, a 90 day initial internship with her amazing mentors, Bill and Kim Coble, on location at their ministry headquarters for Start With One Kenya, which provides clean water filters all over the world, operates a school, and supports mission work throughout Kenya. Elizabeth has largely raised the funds for her mission trip last year and this internship by faithfully sacrificing half of her earnings every week of her life, since she was five years old. Now that she is beginning the real work of serving the marginalized and needy of the world with Bill and Chat Coble of Start With One Kenya, she invites you to join her support team! Your donations will help with her living expenses, and allow Elizabeth to bless SWOK by directly funding the initiatives she is passionate about there and making possible the amazing things God is going to do through her in Africa!
